About CAI-T
Main purpose of the CAI-T website:
- to provide extensive online resources for teachers of Latin, Greek and Classical Studies in Ireland
- to provide infomation on The Academy, our scheme for promoting and teaching Latin throughout Ireland.
Aims and objectives:
- to protect and foster the role of Classics (Latin, Greek and Classical Studies) within the Irish education system
- to enhance teaching of Classics by
- keeping Irish Classics teachers in contact with developements in research and new approaches to classical education
- to keep Irish Classics teachers in touch with international thinking on education through affiliation with EuroClio and other international bodies
- to keep Irish Classics teachers in touch with each other through training and a sharing of resources.
